Sandra is an active member of the Government Affairs Committee (Public Policy) at SCAOR, and is a resource member of DAR on the Public Policy Committee. She is active in Land Issues, and is co-founder and President of the Positive Growth Alliance. She participates in NAR conventions and was the first Sussex County 14th District GOP chairperson. Sandra formerly served on the National Federation of Republican Woman By Laws Committee, and as well as Corresponding Secretary of the Sussex County Republican Woman’s Club. She serves the community as a volunteer for the Beebe Medical Foundation, and was very active in Rotary as Director and Charter member of the Rehoboth Beach-Lewes Sunrise Club. She was nominated for 3 consecutive years as Realtor of the Year, and currently owns Bay Breeze Properties, LLC. She obtained CENTURION status multiple years with the CENTURY 21 franchise, & received many top honors from that franchise over the past 8 years. Since 2003 her license has been with Ocean Atlantic Agency, a residential & commercial Brokerage, which occupies the corner of State Rd & Rehoboth Avenue, downtown Rehoboth Beach. Sandra has four children, three step children and is a proud grandparent of 9. Her youngest two children are Cape graduates. As a native Delawarean, she believes in community service, preserving Open Space, and being a responsible caretaker of the state she loves.

Growing up in Delaware, Sandra was honored to represent the state at Girl’s Nation in Washington DC and subsequently toured through the state giving speeches to encourage more high school girls to become active in local government. In later years, after marrying and returning to the states from living in Italy for two years, she raised a large family and taught Sunday school at the local Lutheran Church in the suburbs of Wilmington. She also became a leader in the school PTA/PTO programs.

Sandra enjoys community involvement, and participating at local, state and National levels for both the Real Estate Community and for supporting Republican ideals. She was asked to run for County Council in 2002, but declined due to her busy Real Estate career. Presently she is a statewide Board Member of the Delaware Chapter of the United Way, and actively watches local land use issues. Knowing the Land Use Policies for the County is essential in her Commercial business, as well as being acquainted with elected officials and zoning laws.

Through her organization she founded, the Positive Growth Alliance, she remains a grass roots defender of land rights, and strives to keep the 3,000 plus members of the PGAlliance informed of current legislative activity that may affect farmers, land owners, and the like. Her group has a full time lobbyist, and is often seen at Legislative Hall.
